This zip consists of Apache Tomcat, Mondrian and OpenI are also pre-configured to run on 8080 port number. In addition JRE is also shipped with this distribution as shown in the directory structure. Notice that the zip contains two separate JRE (one for Windows and other for Linux ). In order to configure OpenI please follow the given steps:

1. Double click on 'start_openi.bat' file for Windows users ( Load 'start_openi.sh' file for Linux users) to start the tomcat container. After the server is completely started, open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:8080/openi

2. You will be prompted to a login page. This is a container specific security. In this version,we have configured username and password as following -
(for application admin)
username: admin
password: password

(for project admin)
username: foodmartadmin
password: password

(for project users)
username: foodmartuser
password: password

3. After authentication openi looks for either an environment variable as PROJECTS_DIR which points to the location of the project-directory or looks for openi.properties file in the user's home directory. If it does not find any, it prompts user to create a sample project. Click on 'Create Sample Projects', which creates the project directory in the default location.

4. The installation is now done!

5. To stop the server, double click on 'stop_openi.bat' for Windows users (Execute 'stop_openi.sh' for Linux Users to stop).

Note: This security settings are configured in 'apache-tomcat-6.0.20\conf\tomcat-users.xml' file (alt. 'apache-tomcat-6.0.20/conf/tomcat-users.xml' for Linux users)
